Jacky's Achievements
Jacky Hunt-Broersma set a Guinness World Record for most consecutive marathons run by a female athlete (LA2). She ran a 104 Marathons in a 104 consecutive days to raise money for Amputee Blade Runners. She raised over $194 000. She also ran 250 half marathons in 250 consecutive days for cancer research to honor those whose lives have been impacted by cancer.

She was also the first amputee to take on the the TransRockies Stage race in Colorado. The race has two options: A six-day race, which covers 120 miles of running with a 20,000 ft elevation gain and a three-day option, which covers 60 miles with an 8,000 ft gain. This race is challenging not only because of the terrain and distances but also because you run at altitude. Stage 1 starts at a staggering 8,000 ft.

Jacky was the First Amputee to run 100 miles on a treadmill and she ran it in under 24 hours (23hr38).

She loves taking on really hard trail races. She also took on the The Naturalist 25k trail race in Franklin, NC. The course covers some of the most challenging terrain in the South East and has a total of 5500ft of climbing.
